Since its conception more than 17 years ago, the unique design of our Classic has been the standard for all of our wooden feeders. Following up our patented Classic wasn't easy, but we did it. Ground/Hanging/Pole Tray Feeders

Tray feeders used on the ground are good for feeding larger birds and other critters. They excel at larger seeds such as peanuts and striped sunflower. They are also customizable, with optional leg kits and Onguard cage you can just feed the birds and keep the critters away.

Hanging tray feeders are used in the same way but you can suspend them from your APS, tree or other mounting system. With a plastic insert it can become a mealworm feeder.

Another use of this feeder is as a seed tray or catch, usually on a pole system under our Classic Hopper feeder. This way it catches all of the seed dropped and turns into a secondary feeder.

Orioles eat many types of food. They crave citrus when they arrive in the spring, eating orange halves and grape jelly. I can not begin to explain how ballistic they go for grape jelly. Then they quickly turn to eating nectar, and then switch almost exclusively to insects after nesting.
